Resin that has an extremely high affinity for inorganic phosphate and is used to eliminate contaminating Pi from buffer solutions to reduce background signals in phosphatase or ATPase assays; the product may also be used to remove Pi from cell and tissue extracts and is a rapid alternative to desalting or dialysis.
