Library of synthetic peptides that mimic proteins, a proprietary diverse library composed of >6000 Protein Epitope Mimetics (PEM's) covering several target classes, for analysis of natural peptidergic and proteinergic GPCR ligands, e.g. urotensins, vasopressins, bradykinins, neurokinins, endothelins, somatostatins, based on the concept of sequence scanning; because of the well ordered conformation of PEM molecules, detailed 3D- information can be obtained from SAR in contrast to the conventional linear hexapeptide scanning.
