MC-5A
Pain signal reprocessor, a pain-therapy treatment instrument, using a non-invasive method for rapid treatment of high-intensity oncologic, neuropathic, and drug-resistant pain through a biophysical rather than a biochemical manner, based on the Calmare Therapy Treatment technique; the device uses electrodes for electronic nerve stimulation and creates and sends a no-pain signal which becomes the dominant signal received by the brain, thus overriding the pain signal and providing relief for the patient - the patient experiences longer 'no pain' periods after each successive treatment.
