We are pleased to announce that ABIC 2010 will have an exciting program beginning with a Public Forum  on Sunday the 12th, followed by a welcome reception. The 3 day conference agenda is composed of both plenary and parallel sessions. The conference will host a trade exhibition to provide 60 exhibitors with the opportunity to promote their businesses and products in a professionally presented and marketed exhibition display area. There will also be facilities for scientists (at all stages from PhD to PI) to present and discuss their findings through a poster session.

The Knowledge Based BioEconomy can deliver biological solutions and benefits for everyone and will have (and already has) far-reaching implications for the whole of society. This conference will be the meeting place for all the stakeholders within the BioEconomy field in Europe. Its primary objective is to contribute to a new vision and action plan for the Knowledge Based BioEconomy in Europe.

The course is designed for CEOs and executives of companies in the biomedical sector; venture capitalists involved in biotechnology company development; business development executives involved in assessing or acquiring biotechnology companies; consultants entering the biotech arena; marketing professionals in life sciences companies; analysts who evaluate current technologies; government officials involved in making legislative decisions concerning biotechnology; and journalists covering these industries.

Met het thema ‘Medical devices voor een menselijke zorg’ wordt ingegaan op actuele en toekomstige zorgbehoeften en op succesvol realiseren en implementeren van innovatie.
