Discovery Chemistry Congress

This year’s Discovery Chemistry Congress will focus on four of the most important aspects of effective drug design and development.

There are four tracks at this congress ensuring attendees receive an excellent overview of the latest developments in the field. These tracks are, Fragment Based Lead Discovery, Structural and Computational Chemistry, Chemistry Outsourcing and Formulation and Solubility.

The Chemistry Outsourcing track, in particular, can offer a number of benefits, namely reducing costs, increasing flexibility and expanding a company knowledge base. However, effective outsourcing does not come without problems, such as patent issues, poor partner relationships and project complexity. It requires the correct selection of an outsourcing partner as well as sound management to effectively integrate external knowledge bases with internal ones.
