29 International Symposium on Chromatography (29th ISC)

 It is a great pleasure to announce that 29 International Symposium on Chromatography (29^th ISC) will be held in September 9–13, 2012 in Toruń. By the decision of the Steering Committee of International Symposium on Chromatography we were entrusted with organizing this event for the first time in the Central and Eastern Europe. Moreover, for the first time all organizers acting in the field of separation techniques, e.g. European Society for Separation Science, Central European Group for Separation Science and Nordic Separation Science Society decided to organize one common symposium presenting achievements of theoreticans and experienced persons in the field of separation methods. It is a tradition, which from the Middle Ages has a place in Torun’ history (two Thorn treaties of peace: 1411 and 1466).

  This event is entitled: Chromatography & Separation Science. Past, today, future. That is particularly important project for us, becausethis technique was developed in Warsaw by M. S. Tswett and on the basis of extraction process introduced by W. Nernst, who was born in Wąbrzeźno (Briesen, former Prussia).

  With the collaboration of the Scientific Committee, in addition to plenary lectures, section lectures, oral and poster presentation, workshops we are going to gather a unique scientific program to discuss cutting-edge science in the field of chromatography. By the supporting of companies we hope to reach an organizational success, both scientific and social one.

  Young scientists are especially encouraged to attend the symposium and present result of research studies.
