Founded in 1971, Max D. Peters, “the entrepreneur”... started in his home... organized, operated, and assumed the risk of a business venture - NuAire, Inc.

NuAire was awarded the first contract to produce the first modern-day Biological Safety Cabinet per NIH-03-112c for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda Maryland.

For 40 years NuAire has been universally recognized as the leader in providing laboratory professionals with reliable products for the most demanding environments. With our state-of-the-art robotic sheet metal facility we are able to deliver standard as well as exceptional custom innovative products to our customers.

NuAire, Inc. manufactures Biological Safety Cabinets; CO2 Incubators; Laminar Airflow Equipment; and Polypropylene Products at three locations in Minnesota. With over 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space, including a state-of-the-art robotic sheet metal facility, NuAire provides employment to 350 Minnesota families and 60 North American Sales Representatives.
