Karolinska Institutet Science Park AB is a commercial enterprise founded by Karolinska Institutet with the objective to offer an attractive and creative environment where innovative companies can grow, in close physical proximity to the academic research and education. The main task for KI Science Park AB, a part of the innovationsystem at Karolinska Institutet, is to facilitate the commercialisation of academic innovations. KI Science Park AB offers modern office premises, incubators and first class laboratory facilities for both newly created and mature companies in the fields of Life Science, Medical Technology and Service Production. KI Science Park disposes of more than 3 300 m2 office space on three different sites, two in Solna in the northern part of Stockholm and one in Flemingsberg, south of Stockholm. KI Science Park AB has a close collaboration with The Royal Institutet of Technology(KTH) and Södertörn University (Södertörns högskola). 47 companies are at present established on KI Science Park premises.
