Established in 1989, from an idea promoted by the Region of Umbria and financed by the European Union Integrated Mediterranean Programme, the UMBRIA AGRIFOOD TECHNOLOGICAL PARK is an essential instrument dedicated to the research and experimentation of innovative techniques used within the agroindustrial sector. Its mission is based mainly on the development of a modern agriculture which is capable of preserving and improving traditional products, combining productivity and protection of the environment with advanced technologies and new organizational procedures.
